Bring your team in.
Keep your own Orbs.

Share one project, task or event at a time by assigning someone to it. Everyone keeps their own Orbs, their own Moon and their own AI plans, and Workload shows the week for all of you.

Settings, Team. Start one, invite by email.

Share one thing at a time.

There's no separate team space to set up. Assign a teammate to a project, lead, task or calendar event and it shows on their Board, Planner or calendar, with a notification.

Anything you haven't assigned stays private, without you doing anything. Anyone assigned can take themselves off, and the owner is told. Leave the team and the things you own go with you, and you come off everything else.

Everyone sees just enough.

Someone on a project sees the project, its tasks, its linked docs and any chats shared to it. Someone on one task sees that task, with the project read only for context.

  • Owners and assignees can edit; only the owner can delete
  • Shared cards get a comment thread for everyone on them
  • Events arrive like invites, with Accept, Maybe and Decline
  • Free and busy: teammates see when you're busy, never what it is, if you choose to share it
  • Notifications for assignments, comments and answers, listed in Settings, Team
  • Shared chats: a teammate who carries one on does it in their own Orbit, on their own plan

See who has too much on.

Workload shows a row for you, each teammate and each Orb that owns tasks this week, with the hours booked per day. Hours come from a task's estimate, or the length of its block on the Planner. Over 8 hours a day shows red, and so does a week over 40. Ask your Moon to move what it can to Friday.

Talk and write together.

Chat gives your team spaces, channels and direct messages, with @Moon on hand. Docs lets you share a page and write it together, live, seeing each other's cursors.

Blocks can be shared too, with one set of data for everyone or a private copy each.

Start a team in a minute.

  1. Sign in

Sign in to your Orbit account, then open Settings, Team and check the name teammates will see.

  2. Name it

Type a team name and click Start team. You lead it, and can rename it or hand it on with Make leader.

  3. Invite people

Invite by email. Invitations last 14 days, and your teammate joins from Settings, Team.

Nobody runs on your plan.

Each person's Orbs run on their own Claude, Grok or Codex sign-in. Orbit checks for teammates' changes about every 30 seconds. Only items with someone assigned go to Orbit's server, sealed with AES-256-GCM at rest; everything else stays on your computer.
